Athena's Owl

This chubby Nose Warmer was inspired by the Greek Goddess of warfare and wisdom. Athena is often represented accompanied by an Owl, symbol of knowledge and erudition.

This chunky beauty is the 1st of a collection of 4 Reverse Calabashes inspired by the 4 elements, Athena's Owl representing the Air.

It was made from Greek Plateau Briar and a latte swirl acrylic for the stem. Its peacock green stain, cloudy rustication and brass inlays/ring make it an eye catcher.

Athena's Owl comes with an Owl tamper, which is handmade from copper, brass and stainless steel. It is also nicely presented / protected on a black velvet bed inside a handmade ratan display box.
